Dominic Monkhouse
Founder and CEO
Dominic is on a mission to demystify business growth. He has a track record scaling up two UK technology companies from zero revenue to £30m in less than five years. He now helps ambitious business leaders achieve fast and sustainable growth by building high performing teams. Dominic has cows, dogs, geese, small children, chickens and pigs down on the farm.
Dominic has an MSc in Agricultural and Food Marketing from Newcastle University and an MBA from Sheffield Business School.
Andrej Klokner

Philip Rose
Associate Coach
Philip started his life as an engineer with Rolls Royce, and since 2005, he’s worked as a strategy consultant and coach, accredited with the ICF as a ‘Professional Certified Coach’ (PCC). His passion is to inspire people to find their purpose, step up, scale up and change. Away from work, Phil runs, swims and cycles and in 2020, he completed his 10th marathon (& holds a Guinness World Record).
Phil has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Nottingham and an MBA from Hult International Business School.
Hugh Gyton
Associate Coach
Hugh Gyton, with over 20 years of experience in the corporate world and expertise in scaling computer software companies, now dedicates his career to coaching business leaders on rapid scaling while enjoying the process. Since 2002, he’s helped senior executives across various sectors improve personal and organisational performance. Hugh is renowned for delivering impactful coaching in Scaling Up, ensuring clients leave with actionable insights and enhanced capabilities.
Karol Popa
Associate Coach
Karol is a Scaling Up Business Coach and Certified Gallup Clifton Strengths Coach. His purpose is to make growth simple. He helps CEOs and their executive teams create a clear vision and a plan on how to achieve it.
Karol is married and has two children and two cats. When the pandemic struck, he moved with his family to the Canary Islands, Lanzarote, from where he developed his skills to work remotely with his clients.
Ethan Martin
Associate Coach, United States / Global Focus
Ethan is dedicated to coaching high-growth, community-focused companies, leveraging his certification in Scaling Up/Rockefeller Habits and Working Genius. His entrepreneurial background includes founding, selling companies and engaging with private equity. Beyond business, he contributes to the Aviation Community Foundation and enjoys flying, teaching, and mountain adventures. Ethan’s academic credentials include an MBA from Tuck School of Business and a BA from Carleton College, marked by his Phi Beta Kappa distinction.
Alexandre Gagliano
Associate Coach, European / Global Focus
Alexandre Gagliano is a Scaling Up Certified Coach. He supports ambitious entrepreneurs and high-growth companies by enhancing team performance, customer experiences, and strategic goal execution. Fluent in French, Italian, and English, Alexandre aids clients with turnovers from £1M to £250M.
Alexandre began his career in telecommunications, founding a company that grew to 20 team members before it faced bankruptcy. Reflecting on this, he considers it his greatest learning experience. He then moved into the software industry, holding key sales roles at SAP, Oracle, and Infor, eventually becoming Head of Sales and VP of Sales. He has helped major companies like Hermès, Audemars Piguet, Airbus, ArcelorMittal, and Dassault digitalise and enhance their customer experiences. He also developed “The A.S of Sales” (Art and Science of Sales) and is regarded as one of his generation’s top sales professionals.
Alexandre is passionate about sports, having played basketball for the Belgian national team, which taught him discipline and focus. He loves snowboarding and finds energy and freedom in the mountains. In his free time, he enjoys the gym, playing the guitar, and travelling with his wife and children.
